1981 Kuwahara Apollo 16
The Apollo 16 – A super cool and very rare 16” Kuwahara Apollo. Found this baby on Craigslist way back and decided to not restore the frame set.
Original Kuwahara made frame set. Forks are Tange TX-1200 16” forks. Paint and decals are original except factory correct fork decals were added as Apollos did not come with them originally. Original Araya Chrome rims and the rest of the parts have been upgraded to 80’s era correct Japanese goodness. Chain and pads are repop.
The Icing on the cake has to be the uber rare 16” Panaracer Comp 2 Style Skinwall Tires & IRC Tire Tubes!
