1983 Kuwahara Laserlite “Turbo”
This is my custom Rider from my private collection – The Vintage Steel & Kuwahara BMX Museum. (The 1st of approximately 60 vintage BMX ranging from 16”, 20” and 24” including BMX Scooters) I will reveal 1 BMX each Friday for the next year.
A mid 1983 Kuwahara Laserlite with oval tubes in “Smoked Black” chrome with chrome parts – MY Answer to the Harry Leary Turbo!
Original Tange Japan made chrome frame set sits un-touched underneath the smoked black paint. Chrome and polished combination of all Factory Correct parts with the exception of the Sugino Mighty Crank Set, brake cable and valve caps! Since this is one of my “Riders” (yes, this means that I ride it), the overall condition is a combination or original good survivor to mint condition.

And of course… the rare “Kuwahara” stamped IRC 80x Tires (Fat/Skinny Combo) are the ICING on the cake!
HIGHLIGHT: T3G – My mid ’83 un-stamped Laserlite with oval top and bottom tubes. A must have in every collection.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Lots of factory correct parts like the Original Hatta Headset with original bearings & hardware, Original IRC tubes and rim strips, Original Dia Compe caliper bolt end caps and all part nuts, washers, and bolts.
