1985 Kuwahara Bravo

The Bravo, Kuwahara’s freestyle BMX alternative to the Exhibitionist. Using the same frame and forks as the Laserlite, they added fork pegs and changed up all the parts.

Found this Bravo all weathered and faded from years of neglect. It had the Original Tange Japan made frame set and bars but was missing several factory components and I wanted it to look like new again before I gave it to my daughter. So it got the complete strip down. Found most of the proper parts that belonged on the bike and started restoration. Re-anodized the stem, seat clamp and chain ring. Repainted the frame set, bars, seat post, cranks and pedals. Found a beautiful original condition Elina Flyte Tech seat and cleaned up the Original lavender Peregrine Master mag wheels. Didn’t bother with the ACS rotor and the rest of the parts I used reproduction as she would be riding it.
